It doesn't support as high of a display resolution as other cables we reviewed, but it still capable of handling high-resolution images that you will find on most monitors.
This male-to-male VGA cable can handle a maximum screen resolution of 1920 x 1200, or WUXGA. WUXGA is a high-definition display resolution, so this cable will help make sure nothing is lost in the image signal transfer between the video card and the monitor. This is not the highest maximum resolution we found in our review, but it is high enough to please the majority of users.
A high-quality VGA cable should also feature shielding to prevent image ghosting or signal crosstalk. This StarTech monitor cable features an aluminum-Mylar foil covering along with a braid surrounding the triple-coaxial and twisted pair wire. It is because of the interference prevention and the high-quality construction that we found this to be one of the best VGA cables available today.
Whether your computer and monitor are right next to each other or across the room, StarTech has a cable for you. They offer cables ranging from 1 foot to 75 feet. StarTech was the only manufacturer that featured a 1-foot cable. Other manufacturers we reviewed did have longer cables than 75 feet, but the majority of people won't need a cable longer than that.

We were unable to find a FAQs page. The chat feature took a long time to load, but when we were finally connected to a customer service representative, they were quite helpful. Overall, we were quite impressed with this StarTech VGA cable. It is capable of transferring a high-resolution video signal with little to no interference. It does not support the highest maximum resolution in our review, but it is well-shielded and is available in multiple length options. We would be happy to use this StarTech MXT101MMHQ VGA cable to connect our video source to our monitor.
